The St Basil church, Red square, Moscow.

I just spent the whole week in Russia as part of a business trip. It kept me quite busy every days but I fortunately managed to have half day sight seeing in the city center with camera and tripod for a nice afternoon.
It was my first trip to Russia as last time that I went to Moscow some 20+ years ago it was a different country called USSR. Quite some changes there as one can expect, especially the wealth that few ones enjoy. To be true, I have never been stuck before in a trafic jam with my taxi surrounded by a Maybach in the front and a Rolls Royce in the back, it was a definite experience...

The weather was sunny most of the week but winter is still anchored on Moscow. There was some few degrees plus with daylight, but they turned into severe freeze as soon as dusk come. So to keep warm I had a long walk along the river bank and around the Kremlin to enjoy city lights and do some test of 5D in cold wind.

see you...
